Article 6 (1) f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) constitutes the legal basis for the processing of this data. Data that you send to us via a contact form (e.g. confirmation that securities account data is correct, confirmation of a capital call, approval of a bank account, creation of a new contact) will be forwarded to the Union Investment Group company responsible for processing the data, where it will be processed. We/the Union Investment Group company responsible for dealing with your questions will only use this data to process and answer your questions or fulfil your request for information, and to provide you with your desired information using, where necessary, a dispatch service provider which is bound by an obligation of confidentiality. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties. Article 6 (1) b GDPR and Article 6 (1) f GDPR constitute the legal basis for the processing of the aforementioned data. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. In addition to content moderation, we therefore use technical and organisational measures to adequately protect your data. Your data will be stored on specially protected computers. The reading and further processing of your data is subject to strict internal regulations and is carried out only for the purpose for which you have provided it to us.

3. Purpose of data storageThe sole purpose of storing data is to fulfil the investment contract formed between you and us and to fulfil the subscription agreement and resulting rights and duties. For example, we will contact you by email in order to confirm upcoming capital calls and verify the bank account and securities account data that we have stored for you. To ensure that communications are targeted, we therefore require your first name, last name, email address and the function that you perform for the purposes of the contract with us. 4. Sharing your data with third partiesWe use the services of third-party providers for certain technical tasks in connection with data processing. These providers are selected very carefully and meet high data protection and data security standards. They are obliged to maintain strict confidentiality and process data only as requested and instructed by us. Article 28 GDPR constitutes the legal basis for this sharing of personal data. Without your explicit consent, we do not share your data with third parties under any circumstances other than those described in this Privacy Policy, except where we are required to do so by law or by order of a public authority or court of law.

5. Storage periodYour personal data will be erased when it is no longer required for the specified processing purposes and when any applicable statutory retention periods have expired.

6. Rights in relation to your stored personal dataPursuant to Article 15 GDPR, you have the right to demand access to the personal data about you that is being stored by the controller. If you find any of the personal data stored by the controller to be inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right under Article 16 GDPR to demand that such data be rectified or completed without delay. Under the circumstances set out in Articles 17 (1) and 18 (1) GDPR, you have the right to demand the erasure of your personal data or a restriction of the processing of this data.
If your personal data is being processed based on your consent (Article 6 (1) a GDPR) or based on a contract (Article 6 (1) b GDPR), you have the right under Article 20 GDPR to receive a copy of your personal data on record in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to demand that this data be transmitted to a third party. If you have consented to the processing of your data (Article 6 (1) a GDPR), you are free to withdraw your consent at any time. If your data has been processed based on a legitimate interest (Article 6 (1) f GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time under Article 21 GDPR.
